I am Nick Smith. I have Professional qualifications in floristry/horticulture along with being qualified to teach (I have a cert.ed.) and have worked in these areas for the past 25+ years.
I have designed many weddings from marquee decoration through to bridal bouquets and flowers for guests etc.
I have organised large-scale parties and product launches for some of the hotels on Park-Lane London.
I have designed several gardens from scratch and offer a full service from construction through to sourcing and planting the plants required through contacts in Holland.
Whilst working in plant sales I built up a mini plant/garden centre which I ran successfully for 4 years.
Having two children I have now started to work with my daughter’s nursery to provide wooden design solutions for the decoration of the nursery both inside and out. For example ‘fake windows’ to brighten up the side of the building where there are no ‘real’ windows. This part of my business is in its infancy but already I am building a reputation for quality and still being realistically priced.
Following on from my work at the nursery I have expanded into producing gates in various designs but fabricated only in wood.
